Last month I had the privilege of smoking some steezy easy with Stoner Steve and it was some dank 707 Headband! This was my first time toking on this strain and man, I was blown away! It literally felt like I had a headband wrapped around my kop, just about ready to take a jog with Stoner Steve – which is why this is my strain of the month.
I smoked on some good bud in the month of Jan, with some dope strains such as Julias Caesar, Gelato and even my religious favourite – Grandaddy Cheese or Super Cheese. These are some tough contenders, but my first experience with Headband was really that good. It’s a strain that I’d heard plenty about, but it isn’t all that easy to source – that is until a friend of a friend had his plant come to harvest recently.
The strain 707 Headband is described as ”having high THC levels and can be strong, but it’s balanced enough to leave most consumers feeling calm and creative rather than sleepy.” Because of this, it’s often used to treat tension and anxiety. It’s a cross between Sour Diesel, OG Kush and Master Kush. 707 Headband plants flower in 9 to 11 weeks and usually have large yields.
It was a truly brilliant experience and something I look forward to trying again. I highly recommend this strain for seasoned smokers but suggest caution for the rookies. I found it best suited for social smoking as the high is very energy driven, which is why it was a great fit for my small birthday bash. But with that being said, it’s also great for a good old chill sesh as you can actually finish watching the movie you started.
So as always people of weed…
Peace, love and success
