Boost Your Bong Game with a Change of Liquids

We love bongs because they filter the smoke through water first, making it a lot smoother when inhaling. They’re also a great way to get a massive hit if you want to send yourself to space. 

As stoners, we are known for our creativity so why not throw a new liquid into that bong? It won’t do much for your high, but adding to the flavour, smoothness and overall experience makes it worth it. 

Hot Tea: This list may not be in any specific order of “suitableness”, but if it were, hot tea would be top 2 for sure. As odd as it may sound, it’s pure genius. Whether it be normal or flavoured tea, the essences provided ensure a flavourful experience. Funnily enough, the warmth of the tea also seems to have an incredible smoothing affect on the smoke. Keep it simple though – no sugar, we don’t want a sticky bong. 

Iced Tea: If hot tea makes in into this list, of course iced tea is going to feature. If you prefer an icy hit over a warm one – this is for you. Pick your flavour of choice, maybe throw in some extra ice and away you go. Be sure to rinse out the bong after, cleaning a hardened sticky bong sucks. 

Powerade/Energade: A staple amongst athletes in South Africa, but soon to be loved by stoners too. With an array of refreshing flavours and dope colours, this is a fun one. Not to mention the fresh burst these drinks to provide when toking. Again, be sure to clean that bong out ASAP thanks to the stickyness of these sports drinks. 

Cranberry Juice: There’s a reason cranberry juice is so popular amongst stoners for their bongs. This juicy adventure provides probably the best flavour experience as opposed to the various other liquids you can put in your bong. The unique cranberry flavour adds a tartness to the smoke that is very enjoyable. This is my personal favourite, so I would highly recommend it.

Orange/Lemon Slices: You know how refreshing a slice of lemon is in some icy water on a day where you’re absolutely cooking? Well This is the bong equivalent. Some truly natural refreshingness goes a long way with this, so throw in some ice, a couple of slices and you’ve got the perfect recipe for a summers day.
