Who is Lucid?

Lucid is a Johannesburg based brand, developed and founded by four awesome dudes that not only understand the plant, but have clear message and mission to deliver only top quality CBD to the public. Lucid is also locally produced with a beautiful combination of not only CBD but Indica terpenes that separate Lucid from the rest of the market. 

Design/Appearance

Overall, Lucid is quite minimalistic, sleek and to the point in their design. Their brand has a clear identity, with their choice of colours, font and overall aesthetic elevating this brand to an international level. 

Lucid is presented in three tincture sizes: a 100mg Leisure, 200mg Active and lastly an 800mg Wellness option. These are all presented and designed brilliantly, with the use of neutral soothing colours and clean text. 

Taste 

Lucid honestly nailed it when it comes to taste. Not sure if it’s the terp blend or the extra care they put into it, but it is some of the better tasting CBD on the market. A much cleaner taste with lovely natural undertones complimented by a beautiful terp blend. It doesn’t leave an unpleasant earthy taste in your mouth which is always a bonus. 

Effectiveness

The biggest issue with an unregulated CBD market is being unsure of what is in the locally manufactured CBD, and how effective the product is. This is not the case though when it comes to Lucid. 

After 3 weeks of regular dosing over the holiday period, some of the team members have found a couple of reasons to love this product: the Leisure CBD is fantastic for helping one unwind and relax, especially for those who experience anxiety. The Active option is especially helpful if you exercise a lot – this helps the body recover and address inflammation from a heavy workout. The 800mg Wellness options seems to encompass all of this, while helping you maintain homeostasis in the body. 

Price Point

Lucid pricing shows great value, with a high quality product being relatively inexpensive when compared to other local and international CBD brands. The prices are as follows:
