Premium CBD Brand, CANNAFRICA, Opens First Retail Store

CANNAFRICA, the lifestyle brand of the first JSE-listed Cannabis company, Labat Africa, celebrated the official opening of its first retail outlet in early October.

The intimate launch event, hosted at the new CANNAFRICA store in Willowbridge Mall, Durbanville, was well received and was attended by the likes of Western Cape Provincial Parliament’s Deputy Speaker Beverley Schäfer, as well as Labat Africa board members, influencers, members of the media, and other key stakeholders.

This, the first retail store of CANNAFRICA, will stock a collection of rare cannabinoids, CBD tinctures and CBD pet care products to start with, with the intention of expanding to include softgels, supplements, personal care products, beverages, edibles and mini grow boxes. The CBD-infused products are manufactured at a state-of-the-art, SAHPRA-accredited, GMP-certified facility, providing a premium experience to users.

CEO of CANNAFRICA, Herschel Maaasdorp, explains that the vision of his company is to make the most of the opportunity presented by the ongoing ‘Green Rush’ while being as inclusive as possible and increasing access for all.
