So as the days begin to tick away, it becomes more and more important to establish a routine, which I believe may be the difference between success and failure during this lockdown. Which is why I am here, to help stoners in lockdown.
The human brain is almost hard-wired to appreciate hard work with a routine as it allows for some sense of constant control in a world filled with variables. In most cases, we have forced routine through things like our jobs, home, fitness and even hobbies but with a lot of that being taken away it is so important to create your own routine to maintain your health and wellness, and more importantly, optimise your time.
Now, we as stoners in most cases are unfortunately not favoured in the routine department due to the natural effect of cannabis. However, I strongly suggest changing that with a few basic changes to your day and daily smoke routine.
The easiest way to do this is to set an objective for the day. Whether it is to be working a full day or only smoking once you have cleaned the garden, this first objective will assist you in knowing your purpose for the day and help with getting things moving. Knowing where to start and how to get there should assist in the most part but what’s also super important is to set some rules and regulations to help you get to where you need to be.
When it comes to these rules, rather look at them as small reminders on how to achieve your goals. So make some productive rules like only blazing after work, which will already help boost productivity – depending on who you are. The other thing I also suggest is creating daily and weekly lists of tasks that need to be completed to help you keep track of what you have achieved and what you still need to do. Also, setting goals around activity and movement is suggested as a healthy body is a healthy mind!
The last thing to acknowledge is that you are the master of your own universe. It is truly up to you to decide how you want your days and weeks to pan out.
So as always stoners in lockdown – stay happy, healthy and productive.
Peace, love and success
